Draft Strategic Plan Overview Approved by Board Of Visitors

On March 31 and April 1, the Board of Visitors approved an overview of Virginia Tech's strategic plan, building upon Beyond Boundaries, that included the university's updated vision and mission and strategic priorities

A message from Dr. Pratt-Clarke, Vice President for Diversity, Inclusion, and Strategic Affairs:

The Office for Strategic Affairs plays an integral role at Virginia Tech both in the strategic planning process and the exploration of VT history, with the Beyond Boundaries foundation for a vision for Virginia Tech. We will continue the Beyond Boundaries vision which reinforces the university’s core values and established strengths.

The strategic planning process will guide continuous strategic planning that achieves measurable goals, ensuring a sustainable Virginia Tech committed to Ut Prosim (That I May Serve). We promote conversations and the environment to understand the challenges and opportunities to deliver outcomes for the advancement of the university.

The Office for Strategic Affairs will lead the Council on VT History to explore how Virginia Tech might recognize and acknowledge its history in the context of today.
