ABOUT THE PUBLICATIONS
For Virginia Tech's 125th anniversary, Dr. Peter Wallenstein of the history department researched and wrote Virginia Tech, Land-Grant University, 1872-1997. He calls this book "the little orange book" and "Orange." For the university's sesquicentennial, he is preparing a second edition, which he refers to as "Orange 2.0." He is also publishing a new book, which he has nicknamed "Maroon." In addition to exploring the quarter-century after 1972, "Maroon" will revisit the full history of Virginia Tech and its people. Wallenstein's research serves as a key resource to the Council on Virginia Tech History in informing its work.
Dr. Peter Wallenstein presents at Bringing VT Histories To Life in 2019..
